Topic: Women and Conflict Transformation
The team was led by the Delegate and discussions were based on explaining the concepts of Conflict and Conflict Transformation, the role of women in the Conflict Transformation process, how grassroots women currently in our context of violent crisis can transform conflict, the Challenges women face in the process, CAWAS’ role in Conflict Transformation and Recommendations.
Part 2
CAWAS team of two on 9/10/2019 honoured the invitation to the National Radio Station CRTV (Cameroon Radio Television) under the Highland Morning Talk Show:

Topic: The Role of Women in Peacebuilding
The team led by the Delegate was warmly welcome by Mrs Orla Titangie and we had a two hours talk show on;
- What Peacebuilding is all about?
- The importance of women in Peacebuilding relating it to the UNSC resolution 1325.
- The role of the grassroots women in Peacebuilding in Cameroon
- The role CAWAS has played in Peacebuilding
- How women can participate in restoring peace back in the North West and South West Regions of Cameroon.
- The challenges women face in participating and being included in the Peacebuilding process in Cameroon.
- Recommendations to the Government, Civil society Organizations, NGOs, INGOs and other stakeholders.
