16 Days of Activism against GBV 2024
CAWAS, with other stakeholders, launched the 16 Days of Activism against GBV, with a march from the monument through customs to Avenir Park and the Bamenda I market.
This is the 18th edition of the 16 Days of Activism against GBV. The theme for this year is "Respond and rebuild after the abusé".

During the 16 Days of Activism against GBV, CAWAS, Aswedo Ngo, and the Divisional Delegate for women empowerment and the family visited GBHS Downtown to carry out a sensitization campaign on GBV.

- Who can be a victim
- Effects of GBV
- Types of penalties to perpetrators

16 days of activism continues as CAWAS, Aswedo Ngo, Human rights, and the delegate of women empowerment and family visits Progressive High Secondary School for a sensitization campaign on GBV. The team made a presentation yoore than 300 students on GBV. Thanks to the school administration for the warm welcome and assisting in the tour as the are eager for the awareness to be created in the school environment which has experienced a series of violence lately.
